HDHacker is a standalone utility that backs up and restores the Master Boot Record (MBR). You must run it with Administrator privileges to modify physical disk sectors safely. Step-by-Step MBR Backup

Launch HDHacker: Right-click the program icon and choose Run as administrator.

Select Drive Type: Tick the Physical Drive (MBR) radio button.

Choose the Drive: Pick the target drive number (usually Drive 0 for the primary boot disk).

Read the Data: Click Read Sector from Disk to load the MBR into memory.

Save to File: Click Save Sector to File, name your backup file, and store it safely on an external drive. Step-by-Step MBR Restore Open Program: Launch HDHacker as an Administrator.

Select Target: Tick Physical Drive (MBR) and choose the exact same drive number.

Load Backup: Click Load Sector from File and select your saved MBR backup file.

Write to Disk: Click Write Sector on Disk and confirm the prompt.

Restart System: Reboot your computer to apply the original layout. ⚠️ Critical Safety Precautions

Isolate Partition Tables: The MBR contains critical partition structures. Restoring an outdated MBR onto a drive with altered partitions will cause severe data corruption.

Verify Drive Numbers: Physical drive designations can shift if you plug in external USB hubs or change storage devices. Double-check that your destination index matches your intended hardware boot drive. If you would like to proceed safely, let me know:
